Available Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking readies the brakes and alerts you with visual and audible warnings when it senses a potential frontal impact. If you do not respond, the brakes can help bring the vehicle to a full stop.
BLIND SPOT MONITORING AND REAR CROSS PATH DETECTION
The available Blind Spot Monitoring System uses sensors to assist you when changing lanes and alerts you of traffic in your vehicle’s blind spot zones with an illuminated icon in the corresponding exterior mirror. Available Rear Cross Path Detection helps you monitor the hard-to-see angles of your vehicle while backing up.
PARKVIEW® REAR BACK UP CAMERA
The standard ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera displays a wide-angle video image behind your vehicle on the Uconnect® touchscreen with gridlines to help interpret distance in tight spaces. It can show objects behind your vehicle that aren’t viewable in the rearview and exterior mirrors.
LANESENSE® LANE DEPARTURE WARNING WITH LANE KEEP ASSIST
Available LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist alerts you during unintentional lane drifts and will help course correct your vehicle back into its lane if you do not respond.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Available Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) uses sensors to detect objects in its path. If the lane ahead is clear, the set speed is maintained. When slower traffic is detected, the system will automatically adjust to a pre-selected distance using throttle control and limited braking.
STEEL SAFETY FRAME AND SEVEN AIRBAGS
The steel safety frame is designed to transfer energy absorbed during impacts to help reduce the chance of injury. The FIAT® 500X also features seven airbags including multistage front airbags, a driver’s knee bolster airbag, full-length side-curtain airbags and front seat-mounted pelvic-thoracic side airbags.
